About Us

We work with our clients to set up processes so that you’re left in control of your business rather than your business controlling you. The end result is: improved income and more enjoyment of living.

The best way to define any business is based on the three-legged stool. Every business has three legs – sales/marketing, operations, and administration. Most successful business owners are very good at sales/marketing and operations. However, the administrative leg suffers due to the fact that the business owner does not have the proper training or the patience to deal with this aspect of the business. We have found that about 25% of the administrative function is related to bookkeeping, accounting, and tax issues. Most successful businesses deal with these issues. However, what about the other 75% of the administrative leg? We call this portion of the administrative leg “fiscal management.” What is fiscal management? Fiscal management is the key financial performance indicators that management needs to manage the business in an effective manner. What happens to the three-legged stool if a business does not deal with the fiscal management issues? The three-legged stool falls over! The Business Doctor deals with the fiscal management issues that the business owner needs to make the proper management decisions.

We have learned over the years through our consulting services that the most successful businesses are defined by the systems and processes that are used over and over again. Most successful business owners are very good technicians. Unfortunately the majority of business owners have not been trained in management and administrative issues. The Business Doctor is trained to provide these services to business owners. Most small businesses cannot afford to hire a full-time Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who would normally provide these functions. The Business Doctor will provide CFO services on a part-time basis to help the business owner achieve their goals.
